Less than 1 month away from the release of The Old Gods DLC, Bethesda has released some brand-new concept art for DOOM eternal. The art was drawn by various talented artists and include many characters from the game such as DOOM Slayer, The Marauder, and Blood Maykr.
Artist Alex Palma expressed the difficulty of recreating the DOOM Slayer and how staying true to the original look was very important in the drawing process. He also stated that “The Marauder was a difficult enemy design to nail down, given that he was supposed to be the arch-enemy of the Doom Slayer”. Fortunately, the final design was decided upon and turned out great. Other designers such as Emersun Tung and Jon Lane have also contributed to the making of concept art of notable characters.
